More About PARIS 

Paris is a passionate advocate and creator of interdisciplinary work and change.

​

Her real-time animation and drawing recently premiered at the 2019 Montavilla  Jazz Festival, Portland, Oregon, as a performer in Canadian composer Dr. Dana Reason's original composition, Torque Songs

​

Myers was an artist in residency at Playa at Summer Lake, OR in 2018, collaborating on She Breathes Water,  part of Dr. Reason's commission for the Bend High Desert Museum 2019 exhibit, Water in the West.

​

Since January 2019, she has been the Gallery Director at Truckenbrod Gallery in Corvallis, Oregon, working with Chicago based artist Joan Truckenbrod. 

​

She is currently a  junior at Oregon State University Honors College pursuing an HBFA and HBS in Bioengineering with Popular Music and Art History minors. 

​

At OSU, she is the Strategic Partnerships Intern for Julie Brandis, Executive Director of Strategic Partnerships, College of Engineering. Additionally, she is a member of the nominee-only Presidential Student Legislative Advocates. 

​

Her freshman and sophomore years of college she worked in the Bartholomew Microbiology Lab and Umm El Jimal Osteological Research Laboratory. 

​

Myers graduated from high school in 2017 at age 16, and began at Oregon State Honors in the fall, class of 2021. She is a three time recipient of the Truckenbrod-Kimball Scholarship for Art and Science and a two time recipient of the Dr. Helen E. Plinkiewisch Art Scholarship.
